Court of the Deep

From Timescape Wiki

The Court of the Deep or The Court of the Depth, were a collection of cruel and unyielding demons who had gorged on souls until their minds were sharp enough to plot and scheme against other demons. They climbed over one another in desperate attempts to rise out of the depths of the Abyssal Waste, and perhaps, one day, loose themselves on the Mundane World, where souls were rich and potent.[1]

Members

  • Groyle Fleshender - A demon barely able to form coherent thoughts, he had souls enough to hate and hunger for more.[2]
  • Hara'antar the Soulthief, the Blasphemite - The last acolyte of the Blood Sun cult, she intended to complete the bloodhadow rite and assume the mantle of High Priest to start the cult anew.[3]
  • Zor'yal Lifeswallower - She one led an assault on Kham in the Mundane World and lost, and her insatiable hunger for revenge drove her into battle after battle in the Abyssal Waste.[4]
  • Vorg'aut Harrowfist, the Lady Blight - She was the greatest warrior in all of the Abyssal Waste and led the Corrosion, a unit of elite demon heavy infantry that held off an invasion by the Inexorables.[5]
  • Trall the Mindbreaker - She was attuned to any divination targeting the Abyssal Waste and fed on the souls of any poor wizard, sorcerer, or warlock foolish enough to peer into the Deep.[6]
  • Sylt Bloodheat - The greatest demon of the Court of the Deep, she commanded the grudging obeisance of fiends within the Abyssal Wasteland. She had never fallen into lethe, instead transcending it, subjugating it, dominating the very flow of souls.[7]
