Durixaviinox
The frost-breathing dragon, Durixaviinox (dur-ih-ZAH-vin-nox), once ruled as a benevolent and all-powerful emperor who amassed enough reverence to rival the gods. [1]
Fall of Durixaviinox
Durixaviinox was betrayed by his sister Yserthrax, who conspired with Qazyldrath to destroy the city of Vexinoth, which Durixaviinox ruled over. The conflict killed countless dragons on both sides and Durixaviinox was left for dead, his body buried beneath the rubble. [1]
However, the Providence refused to die, bringing himself back from the brink through force of will. As Durixaviinox slowly regained his physical might over a milennium of wound licking, he swore oaths of revenge against his sister and Qazyldrath. He planned to bring an eternal winter to the Mundane World. [1]
Quotes
My rule was glorious, and the dragons, giants, and others who I protected lived prosperous lives. Those that remain - the dead that walk - don't remember the time that was. They are mindless drones. The lucky ones died ages ago and stayed dead.—Durixaviinox, [2]
My breath carries the sorrow of thousands of dead dragons. Their despair will freeze the heart of my sister and make brittle anything else that stands in the way of my revenge for those lost.—Durixaviinox, [3]
